AARP Now App Reviews

I have downloaded two AARP apps now with promise to show me discounts. This one allows me to click on a discount and every single one of them says null at the top and has an advertisement on the screen. So no discounts are actually shown. This is absurd. What is up with this? For a nation wide organization you can create better apps that actually work. Come on AARP, who the heck is in charge of this? Get this right.

Whats wrong with discount links. They all show null and void and I get some advertisement for an unrelated item. Deleted the app.

App shuts down every time I try and access my membership card

Very frustrating to look at the benefits and cant see them for the ad covering them. How can I see the benefits if theyre covered up.

This app is pathetic. There is no way to sign in; no way to click on your account; no way to enter the contest. Nothing. Totally useless.

The app is useless in that I am unable to login. I just wanted to be able to view my membership card. As suggested by others, it would be a helpful feature to allow a card in the iOS wallet. Please remedy these issues. I would give this zero stars, but unfairly you have to give it least one. Come on AARP!

Since I wasnt looking for a contest, I got everything I needed when I first downloaded it. All I needed was my card to display. Fast forward several months and I see that the "latest" news is still stuck in 2015 Fall previews. Really AARP??? That said, I still have my card, so I dont worry about it.

Every discount called up says "null". This app doesnt seem to have any usefulness.

Not a low enough scale to select from. Its THE worst App I have ever tried to use. I couldnt even login to this garbage. I just signed up to AARP for the discounts and wanted to use the App so I didnt have to carry a card around but cant even do it without logging in. Not going to even keep this garbage on my phone. Dont waste your time with it.

I agree with the other negative reviews - the only thing this app does is display my ID card. It has not been updated since the screenshots were taken and has zero value.

Was the app hijacked? It used to be informative. Now it is nothing but ads that take you nowhere and want you to install certificates on your phone?? NO!!!!

If you want a digital version of your membership card, that works. If you want to read articles and advertisements, that works. The end. Most of us want a mobile app to find discounts and benefits. That does not work. Want to find a deal for dinner? Forgettaboutit. The entire benefits feature is broken. Apple should not even allow this app in the store. Its only half built. The other issue is that as paid members of aarp, this app is loaded down with ads. Annoying.

1. Safari doesnt recognize the website since the beginning of March. 2. I cant unsubscribe to useless emails. 3. Dont trust their advertisers! You can get scammed by them ! AARP doesnt monitor its advertisers. 4 Want to continue with them for discount services, but they need to fix their online concerns.

This app is terrible. It never works. Cannot read simple articles which never load. It freezes. Terrible.

The app once worked. Now it doesnt. Says "null" and an ad covers the page. Useless now. You would think they would try it before they release it and I would also hope the designers would read reviews.

There is NO way to log on to your existing account. It seems to only allow you to renew or join, basically it is useless if it does not allow me to access my existing account. This is not an app it is misleading and broken.
